Jon graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. But, he has 21 years of poultry experience. Through those 21 years, Jon has worked as a Pullet/Breeder Flock Supervisor, Breeder Hatchery Manager, Breeder Flock Supervisor and Broiler Flock Supervisor. For the past two years he has worked for Peco Foods and prior to that Jon worked 19 years for Sanderson Farms. When he’s not working, Jon enjoys hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family. Please give Jon a warm welcome as he joins the Marshall Durbin team in Waynesboro! |

Mark Dean Named Plant Manager at Jasper Mark has worked for Marshall Durbin as Shift Manager at the Hattiesburg, MS, plant for over nine years. Prior to that, Mark worked in the poultry industry for over twelve years, beginning in an hourly plant position and moving quickly into management positions. Before starting his career in the poultry industry, Mark served in the National Guard for five years. He received his Associate Degree in Business Management from Enterprise State in Enterprise, AL. Mark, his wife Ingrid, and children Tristan, Kylani, and Justice Anthony, ages 12, 11 and 3, will be relocating to the Jasper area. Our congratulations go out to Mark on his promotion and we wish him much success! |

We would like to welcome Alan Fulton to the Marshall Durbin Companies. Alan joins us as a Broiler Flock Supervisor in our Southern Division. For the past 8 years he has owned and managed his Shady Acres Fruit Stand. Prior to the fruit stand business, Alan has 10 years of experience in the poultry industry. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Poultry Science and has worked for Sanderson Farms. When he’s not working he enjoys fishing and doing home improvement projects. Alan and his wife of 16 years, Dr. Lorie Fulton, live in the Hattiesburg community. Lorie is an assistant professor of language and literature at William Carey University. Please extend a warm welcome to Alan. |

We would like to welcome Michael Nicovich to the Marshall Durbin Companies. Michael is our new Breeder Flock Supervisor in our Southern Division. He is a graduate of William Carey University B.S.B.A. He comes to us with 6 years of experience in the poultry industry working with Sanderson Farms. Michael and his wife Paula will celebrate 16 years of marriage this year. They have a daughter, Hanna and son, Tyler. Both children attend Sacred Heart Catholic School. The Nicovich family lives in the Petal community. They are members of Sunrise Baptist Church.

New
Broiler Flock SupervisorWe would like to welcome Darryl Whitehead to the Marshall Durbin Companies. Darryl is our new Broiler Flock Supervisor in our Northern Division. He comes to us with 21 years in the poultry industry working with GoldKist, Golden Poultry, Pilgrim’s and JBS Group. Darryl and his wife Suzy have a daughter Amber, a son Adam and two grandchildren. He is a pastor of Pleasant Hill FCM Church in Phil Campbell and assists with preaching at the Marion County Cowboy Church. In his spare time, Darryl enjoys airbrushing cars and motorcycles. Recently, Darryl helped restore and paint a 1966 Corvette that’s set to appear in the next “Fast and Furious” sequel. Welcome aboard, Darryl. |

Improvements
